I had breakfast yesterday and was very surprised how fresh and delicious the food was. I always passed but never stopped for breakfast until I started noticing that people were actually waiting outside for a table.
I had the huevos ramcheros and were excellent! Will definitely come back. The only drawback is that its CASH only, but the prices are very cheap! Highly recommended! -

I love these types of places that have that home feel. To some they might be turned off because it's not Fancy enough but those types of places typically have the BEST food. I kept it simple and had the "Huevos con jamon". The eggs with ham, rice, beans and tortillas were all delicious. I got to enjoy their "Caldo de Res" too. My favorite part about that is that they put cabbage in it The service was excellent. The minute you sat down the waitress was taking your drink order and got that right to you. I believe my food was out to me under 15 minutes. Great service. Great food. I will continue to support small businesses like this

So let me start off by saying that this is a solid 3.5 spot, Came here with some friends after looking at the menu And the pictures on yelp. Cool little old school spot in Lincoln Heights Which is good because I dig those little old school spots.Waitress was very attentive took her order really fast and brought salsa to the table ,Oh wait a minute we're missing one thing where the chips at ? Well I'll answer your question there are no chips, I understand salsa is an important part of the meal but if you put it on the table please put some chips with it so I can munch before my meal. Ordered the steak Picado and it wasn't bad but it wasn't great either very bland. I get it it's old-school cooking but at some point you got season that meat .. Beans and rice were decent might go back to try something else

My mom would come here while I was in her belly . 32 years later we still enjoy meals here . As a vegetarian they have options . I love this place .

WOW , went for breakfast. Best home cooking at a Mexican Restaurant. Customer service was perfect. Prices were just right if I had even paid a little bit more I would still be completely happy and satisfied with everything that came out of the restaurant.
PERFECT!!!
